On Tuesdays from 6:30pm – 9pm, the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership will host a Dean’s Seminar on Immigration in American Life at City College of New York.

Several great conversations in this seminar are planned including Dr. Stanley Thangaraj’s “Sporting Cultures between Model Minority and Terrorist” on Tuesday October 20, 2015 at 7:45pm. Dr. Thangaraj is the author of the newly published book titled, Desi Hoop Dreams: Pickup Basketball and the Making of Asian American Masculinity.
